ja, die Tanks und die Betonpodeste und auch ein Teil der Rohre sind aus dem Walthersbausatz. Der ist recht gelungen, jedoch ist er mehr für Anlagen der 40er bis frühen 70er Jahre gemacht und der Weg durch die Anlage ist anders herum - Mineralölprodukte kommen per Schiene an und verlassen per Straße die Anlage. Es ist ein Befüllstand für Straßentankwagen enthalten sowie ein Entladestand für Tankcars, ein kleines Pumphaus in Holzbauweise und eine (viel zu-) kleine Wellblechhalle mit halbrunden Dach - eben ein Mineralölhandel einer Kleinstadt. Ich fand ihn aber für mein Vorhaben sehr gut geeignet. Auf alle Fälle besser als der Bausatz "Heizölhandel" von Kibri, den ich erst als Grundlage nehmen wollte. Ich hatte mir zwei davon für sehr kleines Geld aus der Bucht gefischt. Als ich sie jedoch geöffnet hatte, sah ich, dass der gesamte Inhalt nur für die Restteilekiste geeignet ist - Lehrgeld eben. Bei einem war jedoch noch zusätzlich der Kibribausatz 11076 enthalten. Das ist ein MB Straßentankwagen mit dreiachsigen Anhänger - MB 1632 TA mit Wackenhut Tankaufbau 12000 ltr. Fassungsvermögen + Tankanhänger STA 22 22000 ltr. Fassungsvermögen. Wenn das Teil jemand haben möcht, möge er sich melden.

Der Anschluss "Waste Oil and Chemicals" ist soweit fertig. Einzig der Zaun drumherum fehlt noch. Der wird kommende Woche geliefert. Dann fehlt nur noch das "Unkraut" im Anschluss und die Vegetation außen herum. Das Grünzeug pflanze ich aber auf der ganzen Anlage wenn alle Anschlüsse und Gebäude fertig sind.

Foods", ein Hersteller von Fertiggerichten für zu Hause und Fast Food Restaurants, der mit dem Slogan wirbt "M.S.F. - Super Size You" Dieser Anschluss wird als nächster gebaut. Er wird aus zwei unterschiedlich großen versetzten und umgebauten Gebäuden aus dem Bausatz "Milton A. Corporation Building" von Pikestuff, Öltanks von Kibri und verschiedenen Zurüst- und Ausstattungsteilen entstehen. Er wird drei Spots von je 60' haben, ein Ladetor im Hauptgebäude für Boxcars, eine Entladeeinrichtung für Tankcars und eine für Hopper vor dem zurückgesetzten Nebengebäude.

schön, dass es Dir gefällt.
Die Straßen neben dem Anschluss habe ich mit Spraydosenfarbe gespritzt (in einem "Sprayerfachgeschäft" für ein paar Euronen gekauft), Helles Grau und Sandsteinocker nass in nass. Dann habe ich mit einem Zerstäuber eine extrem verdünnte Mischung aus schwarzer Abtönpaste und 70%igen Isopropylalkohol darüber gesprüht. Die Abgas- und die Öltropfspuren habe ich dann mit der gleichen Mischunng und mit einem weichen Pinsel hergestellt.
Das Sprayverfahren war so das erste mal, dass ich es angewendet habe. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich ganz zufrieden. Ich habe jedoch keine ausreichende Lüftung dafür in meinem kleinen Raum und deshalb werde ich es dort nicht wieder anwenden.
Die anderen Betonflächen habe ich dann mit meinem alten Verfahren hergstellt. Zuerst bekommt die Fläche einen deckenden Anstrich mit Humbrol #28 Matt. Nach meinem Farbempfinden repräsentiert dieser Farbton Beton recht gut. Nachdem die Farbe gut durchgetrocknet ist, wird die Fläche mehrmals mit der o.g. Mischung lasiert, bis die von mir gewünschte Wirkung eintritt. Dabei bedecke ich die waagerechten Flächen vollständig damit und lasse sie erstmal trocknen. Das geht recht schnell. Jedoch sollte man dabei offene Flammen fernhalten. Wärend des Trocknens tritt eine teilweise Entmischung auf, die aber gut ist, da die Pigmente sich in den tieferen Stellen sammeln und damit die Strucktur hervorheben. Insgesammt setzt sich aber eine dünne matte Pigmentschicht auf der Fläche ab, die durch mehrer Aufträge verstärkt werden kann. Wenn das Ganze fasst trocken ist, bringe ich bei Bedarf mit dem Pinsel noch Spuren rein oder verwische Bereiche. Und wenn's nicht klappt und alles nicht so gut aussieht, lässt sich die noch leicht feuchte Lasur einfach mit einem alkoholgetränkten Lappen abwischen. Die senkrechten Flächen überpinsele ich auch mit dieser Mischung. Dabei läuft die Lasur herunter und bildet realistisch aussehende Spuren. Pigment sammelt sich in Vertiefungen und hebt Strukuren hervor.
Das ganze Verfahren geht mal besser und mal schlechter von der Hand. Aber wenn's daneben geht, lässt sich alles mit reinem Alkohol leicht entfernen. Das ist das Gute dabei.

I sprayed the streets next to the industry with spray can paint (bought in a "sprayer shop" for a few euros), light gray and sandstone blocks wet in wet. Then I sprayed an extremely diluted mixture of black tinting paste and 70% isopropyl alcohol over it with a nebulizer. The exhaust and the oil dripping traces I then made with the same mixture and with a soft brush.
The spray procedure was the first time I used it. I am completely satisfied with the result. However, I do not have adequate ventilation for this in my small room and therefore I will not reuse it there.
I then made the other concrete surfaces with my old method. First, the surface gets a covering coat of Humbrol # 28 Matt. According to my perception of color, this color tone represents concrete quite well. After the paint has dried well, the surface is varnished several times with the above mixture until the desired effect. I completely cover the horizontal surfaces with it and let them dry first. That's pretty fast. However, one should keep away open flames. During drying, a partial segregation occurs, which is good, however, as the pigments collect in the deeper areas and thus emphasize the structure. All in all, however, a thin, matte pigment layer settles on the surface, which can be reinforced by several jobs. If the whole thing is dry, I bring if necessary with the brush or pure tracks or blur areas. And if it does not work and everything does not look so good, the still slightly damp glaze can simply be wiped off with an alcohol-soaked rag. I also paint over the vertical surfaces with this mixture. The glaze runs down and creates realistic-looking tracks. Pigment accumulates in pits and highlights structures.
The whole process is sometimes better and sometimes worse by the hand. But if it goes wrong, everything can be easily removed with pure alcohol. That's the good thing about it.

der Anschluss "Waste Oil and Chemicals" ist nun endlich fertig. Der Zaun hat etwas mehr Aufwand verursacht, als gedacht. Ich musste etwas Lehrgeld zahlen, dafür habe ich ein paar weitere Spare Parts. Einige Industrieprodukte sind eben besser geeignet als andere. Zum Schluss habe ich die Säulen, Verstrebungen und Tore aus Messingmaterial zusammen gelötet und das Ganze dann mit Gaze von Walthers bespannt.

Ja, die Gaze von Walthers ist das Material, was sich meiner Ansicht nach am besten verarbeiten lässt und auch gleichzeitig die filigranste Struktur hat. Außerdem hat es ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für knapp 18,- Euro ist da in einem Bausatz für ca. 2 m Zaunmaterial drin. Allerdings ist das enthaltene Material für Säulen, Verstebungen und Tore nicht für einen haltbaren Zaun, an den auch mal angeeckt werden kann, geeignet und die Tore sind zu klein. Deshalb habe ich das ganze Tragwerk und die Tore am Werktisch aus Messingmaterial zusammen gelötet, mit der Gaze bespannt, farblich behandelt und dann den fertigen Zaun als Ganzes auf der Anlage eingebaut.

However, the included material for columns, stanchions and gates is not suitable for a durable fence that can sometimes be teased, and the gates are too small. That's why I soldered the entire structure and the gates on the workbench made of brass material, covered it with the gauze, treated it in color and then installed the finished fence as a whole on the layout.

Dieser besteht aus zwei unterschiedlich großen versetzten und umgebauten Gebäuden aus dem Bausatz "Milton A. Corporation Building" von Pikestuff, Öltanks von Kibri und verschiedenen Zurüst- und Ausstattungsteilen. Alle anderen Gebäude und Einrichtungen des Betriebes liegen im "OFF". Der Anschluss hat drei Spots von je 60', ein Ladetor für Boxcars und Refrigerator Cars im Hauptgebäude, in welchem sich Lagerfläche und Kühlräume für palettierte Waren befinden, eine Entladeeinrichtung für Hopper Cars und eine für Tank Cars vor dem zurückgesetzten Nebengebäude. Hopper Cars werden mit einem mobilen Grain Auger Hopper in einem Grain Hopper am Gebäude entladen. Die Tank Cars mit Corn Syrup und Pflanzenöl werden mit Pumpen in die Vorratsbebälter für die verschiedenen Flüssigkeiten vor dem Gebäude entladen.

Die Gebäude sind im Rohbau fertig. Sie müssen noch farblich behandelt, mit außen angebrachten Ausrüstungen und Lampen komplettiert und gealtert werden. Danach wird der Hopper am Nebengebäude, die Vorratstanks und die Pumpen auf der freien Fläche vor dem Nebengebäude aufgestellt. Dann baue ich den Komplex fest in die Anlage ein. Zum Schluss kommt dann der mobile Grain Auger Hopper dazu. Den baue ich aus Förderbändern von Walthers und Rohren von Plaststruct.

Hallo Sven,

ja, bis zum Sommer will ich alle Anschlüsse fertig haben, um dann mit dem Grünzeug weitermachen zu können. Damit wären dann die "Bauarbeiten" beendet und ich könnte "Normalbetrieb" machen . Die Detailierung erfolgt dann langsam Stück für Stück im "laufenden Betrieb". Der Dreck ist dann weg, der sonst den Fahrzeugen schaden würde.
Mal seh'n wie's läuft.
